Subscribe now Then there are more points in the header, like the image. And most importantly, the main navigation. This means all the main menu items through which the user can navigate on the website or deeper into the website. Of course, this should also be named as intuitively as possible. And then there is an area for utilities in the header area. This is also often called top bar or top navigation. This is a very small area at the top of the header where you can locate your USPs, put the search field again, contact details, telephone number.
What would really still be relevant and what doesn't find a place in the main menu item now. Then we come to Special Data the actually largest and most important part of the website. This is the body, as you will. And the user really needs to be able to quickly see what the website is about. Now let's say the home page text must clearly state what the user will find on this page. Ideally, you can also insert additional teasers, tiles or boxes as elements where the user can then perhaps find offers, bestsellers and/or simply navigate further into the page. Then we come to the footer. This is the last point, but that doesn't mean it's the least important point.

The footer is ideal for simply adding additional points that would otherwise not be lost on the website. The most important thing is of course the imprint. Then a data protection declaration. You can also, for example, include FAQs, i.e. the most important questions. Some also put their about us page and contact details in there. Links to the pages and social media buttons can be placed there. And if, for example, seals or certificates no longer have space in the header, you can also put them in the footer. I also have a funny tip for you. It is also said: Basically, even a drunk person should be able to use a good website and find their way around it intuitively. And there's a really nice website called: theuserisdrunk.com .
